As we expand our operations across Dhaka and Chittagong, we are looking for a developer to build the robust infrastructure that powers our research, from the Bangladeshi Medicinal Plant Phytochemicals Database (BMPPD) to advanced AI automation workflows. You will play a pivotal role in creating the software solutions that allow our researchers to solve complex biological puzzles.

Required Candidate Profile

Education: MSc in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field (Preferred); experienced BSc holders are also welcome to apply.
Programming Mastery: Expert proficiency in Python and R is essential for tool development.
System Architecture: Strong experience with Docker, n8n, and building AI-driven automation agents.
Infrastructure: Deep understanding of Linux, HPC clusters, and cloud-based deployment.
Database Management: Experience in designing, maintaining, and scaling biological databases.

Role

Design and implement end-to-end bioinformatics software, tools, and interactive visualization platforms.
Architect and maintain high-performance computational pipelines for NGS, proteomics, and molecular dynamics.
Integrate AI and machine learning models into automated bioinformatics workflows to increase research efficiency.
Optimize database structures to handle large-scale biological datasets, ensuring high availability and performance.
Collaborate with the core research team to translate scientific requirements into scalable technical solutions.
